Trigun and Cat Faces

I have a question for your Trigun fans and those more savvy in the ways of interpreting those wild Anime facial expressions...twice now in Trigun I've seen a character (Vash and Millie both once) make a comment with their face looking very cat-like. What does this mean/signify?Thanks in advance!

I beleve it signals that the character is beng naughty or mischeivous. or at least thinking thoughts along those lines. just a visual cue like theSweatdrops form Sailor moon to indicate embarassment

I think it's a mischievious (Mispell?) expression, it would seem to go with the "big toys are fun, but you could get hurt" comment. I'm not sure though...

Yeah, a cat seems to signify playfulness in Japan for some reason. There's also an episode of Yu Yu Hakusho where Botan literally turns into one for the expression.
