I noted Dylan's "Blowing in the Wind" is mentioned in the article. Never really had trouble with that one...but for years I misheard the first line of stanza two in "Just Like A Woman" as "We ain't married..." (it's actually "Queen Mary"). Still, my impersonation of The Jester (as he's referred to in "American Pie") is so spot-on no one ever knew I'd buggered the line.... :D
Then there's my mother, who for years thought Robert Palmer was saying the girl was "a ticket to love" (rather than "addicted").

Mondegreens, eh? So that's what they're called...
I remember a friend of mine telling me once that my shoelace was untied, and for some reason I heard it as "your shoelace is on fire." :eek:
