Can you tell that I've been away to long and I've had a lot of ideas that I wanted to post.
So here is kind of a retread from last year. I would love to see DC bring back The Composite Superman. He was a fantastic, if slightly oddball, silver age villian. The problem is, how would they retrocon him. The original CS got his abilities when a series of statues of "The Legion of Super Heroes" was struck by lightning at the Superman museum, zapping Joe Meach, the Janitor at the Museum, at the same time. Because the statues of the Legion had been created using a unique 30th century technology, each statue actually captured some of the real powers of the legionaire it represented. When he was zapped, these powers transfered to Meach. Imagine, one person possesing the powers of ALL the members of the LSH at the same time, including the Silver Age Superboy.
In the post crisis/zero hour/final night/whatever other mini-series DC creates to fix the mess that they created with crisis, Superboy was never in the Legion, their are no statues, and I don't believe that their is a Superman Museum. How would DC Retro con what I consider to be one of the coolest, and most under appreciated villians of the Silver Age?
