Who do you think is the best cartoon mouse in the history :confused:

All you have to do is to look at my avatar...Mighty Mouse is the best (in my opinion) cartoon mouse in the history of the animated cartoon.

Next year will be the 60th anniversary of Mighty Mouse, and since the birth of Mickey Mouse, Mighty Mouse became the most popular mouse knocking Mickey off of his perch.Mighty Mouse is the only starring cartoon character in film history, to have less screen time popping up in the last couple of minutes of the cartoon.

The most enjoyable of the Mighty Mouse cartoons were the take-off of the opera concerts, while Mighty did battle with Oil Can Harry, to save Pearl Pureheart , and in some of the cartoons, Oil Can Harry did get the best Of Mighty Mouse but only to fail against the goodness of the American superhero.

Nothing can top the original Paul Terry's version of Mighty Mouse from the 40s, 50s and early 60s, even though that during the late 80s "The New Adventures Of Mighty Mouse" by Ralph Baski was a very good but weird version of the famous rodent.

I picked Mickey Mouse since Disney cartoons are my favorite. I don't care for the Mickey of the late 40's/early 50's becuase he has such a bland personality. Mickey from 1928 up to WWII has more of a personality.

I've seen a poll like this somewhere else, but it only had about 4 choices. I think they were Mickey, Jerry, Mighty Mouse & Danger Mouse, and Danger Mouse won by a landslide! It's okay for us not to have him here though, since he's (a) not a theatrical toon and (b) most folks probably don't know who he is.

Yep, I've always liked Speedy too, and I also voted for him. I still love the antics of Jerry and Pixie & Dixie, Mickey Mouse's mis-adventures, Mighty's super-saving, and Sniffles cuteness and talkativeness. However, after watching most of the Herman and Kantip cartoons, they're good, but they get pretty bland, and most of them have the same plot:

1)Katnip does something to hurt Herman's cousins, friends,etc.

2)Herman comes to town and here's this, so he decides to teach Katnip a lesson

3)Herman finds some way to defeat Katnip, and wins in the end

Actually, I'm not dissing H&K, but T&J were a much more funnier than them, and at least Jerry doesn't ALWAYS have to win in the end... I've yet to see a cartoon where Katnip gets the best of Herman. Does such one exist? Actually if the cat DID win, he'd do something pretty gorey to the little Brooklyn rodent...

You forgot the most estimable Danger Mouse and the redoubtable Penfold. DM makes James Bond look like Maxwell Smart! Too bad it isn't airing in the US anymore, at least not that I Know.

I voted for Sniffles,he maybe only in 12 cartoons but I really like them ALL!!!

My second vote would be for Mickey,he may have gone really blad in the late 40's/50's but his early cartoons are classics!!!!
