Jpeh Loeb is writing - how can it be bad? He did the amazing Superman For All Season and al lthose Batman Halloween titles! His most recent issue, SUPERMAN #174, was an astonishing story.

yes..I know..I seem to reply to all of the comic cover art lately..but..they covers have been so good lately..

that's a hilarious cover....

most manga stuff looks funny (the Star Wars ones were sorta iffy lookin')...but this takes the cake...looks like those new "super deformed" star wars figures from japan...(Palm Talkers).

I wonder what Bat's would look like..

Y'know, Superman's new costume is really starting to grow on me. Superdeformed or no, this shot is a lot better drawn than the previous shot I saw (shown at http://www.dccomics.com/directcurre...own/daos596.jpg).

LOL! That looks hilarious and awesome at the same time! I love it! It's the authenticity that gets me. It even says "Superman" in Japanese up top. I don't know what the heck this doll does, but I want it. lol ;)

I like the coloring effect on the packaged toy at the bottom of the pic - it actually looks a week bit real. The cover is a definite keeper, though!
