Toymania.com has started Operation Superman (http://www.toymania.com/operationsuperman) !! Its for those who helped in the recent tragedy. Here's their explanation:
<p> The goal of Operation Superman is to honor the efforts of the firefighters, police officers, and EMT's in the rescue efforts at the World Trade Center in New York City. Individuals involved in relief efforts for the events of 9-11-01 will receive a Superman figure and a letter of appreciation. Started on the Toybuzz, the forum of Raving Toy Maniac, Operation Superman has grown into an international effort, with figures coming from as far away as Japan. The more figures that are received the more figures that will be able to be distributed to those who have helped in the rescue efforts.
