If this is old news I apologize, but when I was watching Cartoon Network on Saturday night I saw a commercial promoting JL and X-Men: Evolution scheduled back-to-back five nights a week on CN.

In the promo featuring action shots from both series were a few new shots from Season 2 of JL.

Some of the new scenes included J'onn stretching like Plastic Man to avoid an energy blast, Wonder Woman kicking at the camera and a new shot or two of Batman.

Just wondering if anybody else noticed this too, and could perhaps post the commercial somewhere on Toonzone. It's not much to see really, but it might be all we get until this Fall.

I kept seeing that commercial and wondered if the scenes I didn't reconize were S2 shots or not. One scene in particular that I didn't reconize was a shot of Wonder Woman landing on a jet and pulling the pilot out.

1. J'onn doing his Plas impersonation :-)
2. Flash piloting the Jav7 w/ GL in the back
3. Diana bailing out that pilot
4. new Batman background, possibly the Watchtower or some lab.
5. GL firing his power ring in space, w/ either satellites or wreckage in the background

wonder woman kicking the camera was from Paradise Lost when she was serving Kal some whoopazz. In fact most of the Season One clips were from Paradise Lost.

it's nice to see a few peeks at season 2
counting down: april, may, june, july, august, september, OCTOBER

Thanks for the clarification, Anarky. I knew there was a new shot with WW, but I had forgotten the shot with the pilot. The shot were she kicks at the camera really stood out for me, though, so my brain ended up connecting the wrong logic circuits.

Isn't the Wonder Woman Jet Scene from Savage Time? (Doesn't recall seeing that part)

And I thought I was crazy...I knew it was from JL:S2

Nope. I watched SAVAGE TIME the other day and that scene is not from that episode.

It's a different scene, featuring a modern-clad fighter pilot.

I'm surprised no one's posted vidcaps or a video file yet. And to those brave souls who've PM-ed me, I haven't seen the promo, so I can't tell you which episodes the scenes are from.

I'll vidcap it and put it up, but I don't spend that much time watching TV so I haven't even seen it. Is this one of those commercials where you're virtually guaranteed to see it during any given half hour block, or does it air just on occasion? If someone can give me some idea of when it tends to air (i.e. during what shows, or hours), I'll try to catch it and put it up for people, but I don't have time to watch for it on a regular basis. I suppose I could set a tape to record a 6-hour block of CN and then fast-forward through it to find the commercial. Still, info on how frequently this thing airs would be good, since there aren't any shows on CN these days that I tend to make a habit of watching.

I can't be too sure when the spot airs. It might show up around the same time JL and X-Men run back to back Sun-Thu.

I know that there are TWO versioins of the promo, though (a :15 and a :30, I would guess), and the shorter one doesn't have as many new shots as the longer version.

I'd recommend looking at shows that follow the same audience as JL/XE... like Samauri Jack and He-Man.

I'll try to catch those shows too, when I get back home.
