It's my second favorite cover, after B:GA #1 which had bar none the PERFECT cover.

Brilliant!! I just wish I could come up with themed ideas like that for MY drawings. They come, but NOT AT ALL like that!! Not to mention: Gorgeous!! Excellent job. Hehe, I wish I'd thought a that. :p

That's great! I wondered how this cover was going to look and it is no doubt one of my new favorites...

I hope Cooke continues to do the xcovers. His belated run on BB made the cover stand our great (BB #23 is THE BEST cover to that series) and I'd like to see his covers continue on.

That's a really neat cover, especially when you start looking at some of the details in the picture.

It is cool. I think the tied up Gordon and kissed-into-submission Bullock is a bit funny.

I hope this issue is as good as the cover. Are all the inmates going to be in it? That would be so cool!!!!!!:D

Head over to the Newsboard to find out! The synopsis does sound real good. Hopefully Pteerson won't muck it up.

Maybe with Levins writing the story with Peterson it won't be too bad....

True...Levins is co-writing. I'd love to see Darwyn Cooke handle the interiors as well, but Cooke is busy with doing the first 4 issue arc of CATWOMAN. Nuts...

I'd love to see PUCKETT return....

OMG! That is sooo cute. :) I do not like how they changed Ivy's skin color again though.

quick question: why is the Creeper with the villians? He's a good guy, and according to "Beware the Creeper" he never went to prison.....was he in a story line I missed?

Actually, I didn't co-write this issue with Scott. The only story I've contributed to is next month's #43. But I thank you for your faith in my writing abilities, which have as yet been untested...:)

As for #45, it doesn't feature EVERYONE on the cover. There are, however, cameos by Killer Croc, Commissioner Gordon, Two-Face, the Mad Hatter, Harley and Ivy, with larger roles going to the Riddler, the Ventriloquist, Maxie Zeus and Clayface. And I think it's a really fun story!

Oops, I forgot to mention that the Joker will also appear in #45, and that I LOVE Darwyn's cover!

Actually, I'm glad they changed her color there - she looks awful with that pale white skin! Its nice to see her with some color! Interesting that they gave both her and Catwoman normal colored skin again - wonder if that's going to happen in the comic too, or if it was only done on the cover.

Catwoman had "normal" colored skin in B:GA #24 which worked real well with her costume. Anyone remember?

You know, now that you've mentioned it, I do remember that! Completely forgot about it. Hopefully they'll stay with a "normal" color - I never really liked the white/pale skin coloring.

Really cool cover!!!

I noticed the skin color changes too. Also, Joker is more BTAS style, w/ red lips and yellow undershirt. And the Mad Hatter's suit and hat are black and his hear is red.

But those are just things i noticed. It still is one of the best covers i've seen for BGA!

Joker looks like he did in ROTJoker. I think it's the best incarnation of the prince of crime thus yet..

The cover does look great, and I like the little tweaks made here and there to the characters. I hope they start using the ROTJ Flashack Joker more and more...
