I just checked the Sazuma Trading website (Sazuma.com) to see if there was an update on those three Woody Woodpecker DVDs. It turns out they are now listed as The All-New Woody Woodpecker Show and there will be nine (!) volumes. No contents are listed, but it doesn't look like there are any classic Woody cartunes coming to DVD anytime soon. :( :(

Well that's nt surprising to me...About a year ago Universal /mca had plans here in the states to release a video/dvd set of "Woody Woodpecker cartoons, and the sad part of that was it was going to be the "new" Woody cartoons...Not the classics

I wish Universal could just release (like I said before) DVDs
with EVERY Lantz cartune and make something like the GAOLT set.

Well, if the LT DVD set is released and does well, it could help lead to the releases of some other cartoons (such as Lantz and MGM).
