I suppose after that, I really can't get mad at anyone for calling me "cute"...
Ah well.
I leave you with one final thought:

No, you really cant,
Because it was, indeed *very* cute.
And now with markers,
You'll give us great coloured pics to boot!
So put your head down,
Use your amazing skill,
And magic markers,
To give us all a thrill!!!

Awww NF, that's so you. You really can draw the slim, trim female form perfectly. Everyone always looks so graceful!
My favourite part is the little girl at the bottom giving the thumbs-up. Can you frame that and send it over here? It's just priceless! :)

Sums up better than I could. You do have a knack for the perfect female form - I that that was the exclusive providence of the male drawer..? :) Actually yours are better, they look cute and attractive without the male attention to certain... areas. Overall it creates a more natural and pleasing image.

And all the onlookers nod in agreement.
"She has markers..."
"Actually..."
Very nice, it brightened my day NightFlower! Hehehe, it reminds me of how I act when I get my art supplies, pencils, pencil sharpener, colored pencils, sharpies, even my magic art erasers!
The thing that was so funny was the shifting eyes! Heh, nice, do more comics... that was obviously a hit!

First attempt:
http://www.sixies.net/users/nightflower/sk_markers.jpg
Not very good, especially compared to what I've seen other people do, but I've never worked with markers before. Lots of cries of frustration and things gone wrong and learning experiences and experimenting.
And no, in case you're wondering, these are not like your typical Crayola markers. The price I paid for them, they better not be!!

I think the important words here are "first attempt". That's an amazing pic for a first attempt. Sure, it's a little messy in places, but the overall effect is still great. And if your first attempt is that cool, just imagine how great your second and third and fourth attempts will be as you continue to practice and learn how to use those markers!
By the way, what kind of markers are they? I'm sad to say that I'm only acquainted with the "you-get-fifty-different-colors-but-they-all-dry-out-after-only-two-uses-because-you-stupidly-bought-your-markers-at-the-grocery-store" variety (and they suck - big surprise :p )
Good Ol' Batmanuel!

I wish I could get that excited about markers! :) Mine are always dried out by the time I use them. Stupid cheap markers...:p Oh well, I always have a good supply of fine-tipped Sanford Uni-Ball Onyx pens on hand. I've been using them for several years now, for just about everything!

As far as the first one... lol!! Thats too cute, NF :)
You do know how to draw the female figure very well... its almost instinctal :D
The second one doesnt look that bad, considering its the first attempt. Markers can be unforgiving and takes practice. I like it a lot though :)

Why, yes you have! And this new skin on me feels SOOO GOOD, too. :D
"Markers!"
So what kind of markers are those? That pic looks really professional; I thought I'd done a good job with MY colour shading in my pics but this one blows mine away. The way the colours blend into each other is amazing, especially in the hair. How'd you do that? The markers I have don't have that many different tints and hues of each colour. *SNIFF*
:)

Ooh, doesn't look bad at all. Looks like the sun is setting and you can see it reflect off her fur.
Nice markers! I love your writing *steals* Oh yeah, and who is Joey?! *Grins*

Joey (http://www.sixies.net/users/nightflower/nf_sk.jpg) is one of my best friends. We pretend we're sisters because we have the same last name *grins* Her online name is SyberKat, so I also call her SK.
What kind of markers are they?
Prismacolors (Too cheap for Trias). They're not exactly the run-of-the-mill markers, and the price reflects that... I think they're alcohol-based, not water-based, so they take much longer to dry, which allows for all sorts of neat tricks, like blending different colors and such. I've seen people work wonders with them, I can hardly do anything with them. Lots of comic book artists use them.

Prismacolors? That's what I assumed - I've never used them myself, but I heard that those are the markers Bruce Timm uses with his drawings. I oughta look into getting some - I'm curious to see just what I could do with these.
And alcohol-based, to boot? Mmmm...do they smell good?
