Everyone's doing vs threads so here's one I'm surprised no one's thought of

Darkseid vs. Mr. Myxzpytlyk

yeah, it'd probably never happen but let's just say for the sake of argument it did

It's actually been a while since we've had a "versus" thread around here (usually they don't go well), but Darkseid would squash that little imp like a bug.

I'd root for Mxyspitylik just because I'd feel sorry for him! He's be killed a nanosecond after the fight started.

Hmmm...I honestly don't know. When you throw two superpowered, supernatural people into the ring together, I don't know who'd win.

I picked Mxy as a sympathy vote. :)

Darkseid vs. Mr. MyxzpytlykDarkseid may be powerful but it's physical power. What good are omega beams when aimed at someone who can disappear? How can Mxy be "squashed" (as someone said) if he can POOF away as as soon as Darkseid approached him? Magic is always more powerful, it's just that the writers don't know it.

I have never been happy in any Superman or Justice League episode when magic is used because the magical being loses by some dumb ritual that s/he could have cut off at the pass very easily, but didn't. C'mon! No one could ever get me to say my last name backwards. Silly, silly, silly...

Well if it was that easy for him he would have done it to Superman.

I'm going with Darkseid. If Supes could trick Mxy into saying his name backwards, then so could Darkseid. :p

I think Darkseid could squash him like a bug. Myx is annoying as heck, but I agree, he wants Supes around, otherwise he'd have nothing to do with himself. Myx doesn't seem like the kind of...thing...that destroys, not like Darkseid.
