New upgrades on Toonzone and this forum specifically. Hmmm, it's okay, but I have to get used to the new layout here.

Well because of the upgrade and all, also the lawouts have to be redone yet again, and it will be at least untill after Spring Break that this board will be back to normal.

Did the upgrade cause anyone else to be logged out?

This forum looks the best now! I really can't stand dark and moody looking sites or forums! http://members.aol.com/kimminakochan/chicken.gif
Great job mister board designer!

No offense, but I liked the look of the old one better. Nice banner though.
I like it, I'll just have to get used to how spread-out everything is now. :shake:

Much better! It now matches the new look, and we still keep Meatwad. Excellent designs to whoever did it :)

I dislike it, the previous style was more Adult Swim related (This new thing we have is not Adult Swim, EOD). But it is still alright, but why is Meatwad over all else on the banner?
Just wondering...

I liked the old background but I can live with this. A banner representing many AS charcters would be better though. Bender, Spike, Vash, Stewie, Space Ghost, and InuYasha would be cool together on a banner.

Actually, Meatwad was easiest to draw at a moment's notice. I had only a few hours before I wanted to be completely done with all the styles. Otherwise I might've gone for something more complex. And the look of the design was based off of the last AS press kit from CN.

Just out of curiousity, what's an AS press kit?

I disagree. Not on the coolness thing, but on the better thing. Having one character is much easier on the bandwidth. You'd be surprised how much a banner with a lot of art on it eats up. I have to take that into consideration when designing something. What I think is a better idea is just switching the banner every month or so with a different character. Nice thing about the current AS look is that it's mostly line art with simple color schemes. Small file sizes! (Harley gets all giddy.)

Adult Swim press kit. Press kits usually have a style to them. To differentiate it from the dozens of other press kits out there. This on in particular contains blues, yellows, white and has a halftone look to it.
They usually contain fact sheets and news releases on the current, or upcoming line-up. It usually contains a series synopsis for each show. Sometimes it has the professional highlights for the creative teams or voice actors. Sometimes upcoming schedules. And occasionally they come with slides.

Oh, I forgot about the bandwidth. I don't really have a problem with Meatwad though. :meatwad:

I like it. The colors a lot easier on me eyes too. Though "Pushing TV's Limits" Probaly would have been a better quote.

Actually, I had that all typed in there, but then Brian suggested that I put, "The bun is in your mind."... as a joke... it made me chuckle, so I went with it. How's that for a look into how my mind works?

If you make a new one each month, maybe you could put them all into a banner rotator, that in a random fashion. Just to spice things up. But then again, what do I know :-P

I like the rotation idea too, but I could see it being a pain to mess with. Meatwad's cool enough! :meatwad:
I gotta say, though, that my eyes were so used to the old blue and red, they're having a hard time adjusting! I'm sure they'll be grateful for the change, once they get used to it! :p
