Yeah, you read that right. MacGuyver. Recently the show is being broadcast Sundays at 1 pm on TVLand. (Although I get the show daily. Heh. :D) I used to love this show as a little kid, and now, rewatching it, I remember why. He's MacGuyver. He rules. He's the Grand Master of all geeky scientific goodness. And he makes it look oh-so cool. I've noticed that some of the later episodes become a bit preachy, but usually it can be overlooked. But, anyway, that's my little rant on MacGuyver.

Maybe I'm a freak for still loving this show, but that's just me. Any other takers?

While I do like cheese MacGuyver definately does rule. I haven't watched this show in like three years, but it was always cool.

I remember once at a camp out we talked about all the different stuff MacGuyver could make.

"Watch MacGuyver make a bomb out of a pen light..." :p

Ah, MacGyver. One of the best shows ever when I was growing up. The best part of the show was they would have his arch-enemy Murdock, the guy who wouldn't die, show up at least once a season.

MacGyver ran for 7 or 8 seasons and ABC did give it a final episode, and while my memory is a little hazy, I know he met his long lost, but adult son. And of course, he was practically as smart as his dad. There were two made for TV movies that followed after the final episode aired. They really weren't all that good, but it was neat that ABC had done them.

The WB is getting ready to shoot a pilot episode for a new MacGyver series. The show will focus on his newphew. I can't remember his name, but one of the guys from the Gilmore Girls got the part. No word yet if Richard Dean Anderson will guest star in any episodes.

Aslong as it`s not another Team Knight Rider it will be the show to watch.

I just realized I've been spelling MacGyver wrong. For eighteen years, I've spelled the guy's name wrong. (Even before I knew how to spell. That's a long record.)

Still, MacGuyver looks more...normal for a reason. :)

MacGyver was the best! I loved him so much. I had a poster of Richard Dean Anderson hanging in my bedroom all through high school (heck I still have it in a closet somewhere :D). I thought Mac was the perfect guy: nice, intelligent, funny, with just a little broodiness not to be boring. I still love catching the old shows on TV Land. I'm a little hesitant about getting excited about the new show, but it would be so cool to have RDA make guest appearances.

Oh yeah, they're making a new show, aren't they? Yeah, I'm not getting my hopes up too much. It'll probably suck, and just be carried on the name alone (somehow, that strikes me as funny) for a season or two and then be canned. But, luckily, it may actually be good.

And, yes, having Anderson making guest appearences would be very cool indeed. Although, I wonder; how did MacGyver have a nephew? He has no relatives, and was never married, so it makes no sense that he has one.

Oh, and one other thing. Jack has to make an appearence. Just one; and I'll die a happy woman. And/or Murdoc; they ruled that show. Greatest guests of the show. Loved all the episodes involving them.

Hey, MacGyver's on at midnight, too. Sweet! >dies happily<
