...if "Pygmy Hunt" can air on Cartoon Network, maybe "Porky's Ant" and "Robinson Carusoe Jr." aren't far behind. "Ant" and Hunt" basically use the same joke--some character desires a pygmy's hair bone. I don't know if those Porky shorts are Clampett-directed, but since The Bob Clampett Show has been moved (for how long is anyone's guess) to "Adult Swim", I figure we might get a few semi-un-PC shorts like these tossed into the mix. Time will tell if that's a one-time only thing or a p.r. move designed to placate angry Bebop fans.

"Porky's Ant" was directed by Chuck Jones (good luck ever seeing it on his show, while "Robinson Crusoe Jr." was supervised by Norman McCabe, who took over when Clampett went to work on the color Merrie Melodies series.

I missed PYGMY HUNT again???? Darnit, this is the first time in a long time I decided not to watch LNB&W, and they would have to show a rare cartoon then.

Is it me, or does anyone else think that "The Pygmy Hunt" is just a really boring cartoon? I watched LNB&W when I arrived home from work yesteday. I know I have seen this one before, but man, it bored me!!
I'll add it to my collection, mainly because it is rarely broadcast, but it is not one of Friz's best.:(
