Non-fiction or historical fiction, what are your favorite historical movies? They can't be based on something too recent, so let's say movies based on WW2 or sooner.
My top 5:

-Tombstone

-Enemy at the Gates

-From Hell

-Braveheart

-Gladiator

Tombstone has got to be one of my fav historically based movies. But overall it'd probably have to be Gettysburg. I mean, wow, when you say historical movies, that's the one that really comes to mind.

Dear God, I forgot "Amadeus". That was supposed to be in my top 5. Make "Gladiator" sixth.

Are we talking historical in the non-fiction sense or historical as in period pieces? :D
