Just remembering when BB:ROTJ was still being made, there were some cool rumors... too bad they weren't true.
- When Bruce refuses to tell Terry about Joker, Terry uses the batcomputer to find ALL the Robins, but Bruce has encrypted their files and Tim is all Terry can find.
- The fate of Batgirl and Nightwing would be revealed as well.
- Appearances of villains from Bruce's time.
- Appearances of villains from Terry's time.
- Joker finds out all the Bat team's identities, and Bruce is forced to kill him before Joker gets to them.
- A LONG, BRUTAL final battle between Bruce and Joker in which Bruce kills Joker willingly.
Do you guys know anymore?

I must say this particular one (perhaps reworded) was my favorite, especially after seeing the movie because I just KNEW it was too easy to figure out to be true! I knew Dini would turn our fanboy guesses inside out! And boy did he!
Anyway, another rumor that I thought was the coolest was one I think I came up with, but never spread. *Bruce would don the Batman suit, aside from the flashback. I dunno, because of the flashback and all, I don't think I'm at all upset this one wasn't true.

Why won't they tell Dick's fate during the old days? I just recently got the movie and all it mentions is that Nightwing left for a new town to establish hisself in.

about the fate of batgirl and nightwing, i bet they would have included it in the movie if they weren't going to make another that would tell the details of of dick grayson. but with the ROTJ fiasco that led to the dini and burnett fall out.

 This is the problem with modern information technology - if you look at some of the rumours that are spread before these films come out! Some of them you breath a sigh of relief and some of them you are disappointed to not find in the finished product! We're fortunate in the UK on this issue because we get the rumours at the same time as you guys but we also get your reactions before we see the film! Prior warning to be pleased/disappointed, if you will!! Of course everyone has their own opinion once they see it.
- The Nightwing rumour went so far somewhere that Loren Lester was in a supposed cast list.
- A Penguin cameo (this was in the original script).
- Bruce Wayne from the future visiting the ruins of Arkham (again this was in the original version). How cool would that have been!
- The big rumour over here (that created a bit of a stirr) was that this was going to be 'Batman for adults', with an 18 (or R to you guys) rating and serious issues. This sounded so cool! And despite the initial let-down (edits .. grr) there's now a rumour of a 'director's cut'.
Oh yes please!Please!Please!PLEASE!

if it had only followed the script. I own the ROTJ: Screenplay by Paul Dini, and it's great. The scene between Pierce and Wayne was in there. THe arkham scene was in there (Bruce went back and found where tim was tortured.....spoooooooky). And their was a couple others. I'm gonna have to get it out and read it agan..it's a sweet book..
