My question is: Will the Ultimates EVER be monthly like it's supposed to be. It sure would be nice to actually have it on time so that when you get an issue you can actually recall what's happened in the last one. Info would be greatly appreciated

Can't say I have been pleased with the tardyness of the Ultimates...but, it's still a great book..I forget the tardyness after I am done reading it. Unfortunatly, I remember it when I fiend for a new issue.

Ultimates is "supposed" to be a monthly series. It just gets held up all the time..... X-Treme X-Men too. But they're getting better with that title. Ultimates should ship next month. i'm guessing at least once every two months we'll see it on the shelf.

Ultimates is on a flimsy schedule because the artist's (Bryan Hitch) wife is having pregnancy problems. Last I heard the problem is cleared up and he's trying to get back up to speed, so the book should go back to monthly within the next few months.

Correct me if I'm mistaken...

But hasn't Bryan hitch been late late for a lot longer than he's been pencilling this series? Look over on the issues of JLA he was supposed to pencil. Okay, he got 47, 48, and 49. He handled parts of 50, and he did not do 51. He pencilled 52, 53, and 54. Did he do any of the Terror Incognita storyline? If he did the first issue, that's all he did. The rest was done by Mike "I'm A Christian And I Am Going To Go Onto Fan Message Boards And Start Christian Threads And Call Everyone Who Is Not A Christian A Godless, Soulless Savage" Miller.

Bryan Hitch is a good artist. Is he an artist that I think I should have to wait months at a time for? Not by any means. I'd much rather see a fresh talent on the book. (This is not in regard to his wife's pregnancy's complications. I think that's a very valid excuse. I'm talking about Bryan Hitch in general.)

Really doesn't bother me. I love the book and would like to see it monthly, or even bi-monthly, but I got other stuff goin' on in my life.
