For those of you wondering when FOX would begin airing new episodes of <b>Futurama</b>, I have some good news! <b>Futurama</b> returns March 2nd at 7pm 9ET) with an all-new episode. The press release can be found below:

FRY AND LEELA DEVELOP SUPERHERO POWERS ON AN ALL-NEW 'FUTURAMA' MAR. 2, ON FOX

Fry, Leela and Bender find they have superpowers after using a pain relief cream called "Doctor Flimflam's Miracle Cream" given to them from Zoidberg. Fry convinces Leela that their powers can be used to serve the Earth and with the help of Bender, the three become the newest superheroes in New York City. In no time, the heroes, Captain Yesterday, Clobberella, and Super King, are stopping crime and have become honored servants of the city. When Mayor Poopenmeyer gets a tip that a dangerous villain, The Zookeeper, will be trying to steal the precious Quantum Emerald from the Museum of Natural History, Fry, Leela and Bender foil the crime only to have The Zookeeper escape on the FUTURAMA episode "Less Than Hero", Sunday, Mar. 2 (7:00-7:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (FUT-404) (TV-PG)

Cast: Billy West as Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Dr. Zoidberg, John DiMaggio as Bender, Katey Sagal as Leela, and Lauren Tom as Amy.

Having been glued to the DVD boxsets the news of new Futurama fills me with bounciness. Now all I have to do is wai the 50 years before the UK air it.... :rolleyes:

I already knew it was coming back, and the basic plot for that episode. Now I just know a lot more stuff about it. In fact, the only thing that seems to be unknown are what powers Fry and Leela recieve (Bender recieves none, I know). Oh, and one question

This episode also features Leela's sewer mutant parents as well, right? I heard that the villian kidnaps them as hostages. Is that a rumor or what

It looks like a good episode. I always like superhero episodes of comedies like this (Like the superhero spoof in that one episode of "Family Guy").

This is great news to those awaiting the episodes. Networks often like to hold things back, which is what just happened in this situation.
