List here what you think are your choices for best drama and comedy on TV. This thread has probably been done before...oh well. Also syndicated reruns don't count.
OK here are my picks:

Comedy:
Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO)
This show is just brilliant. The ep "Krazee-Eyez Killa" was one of the funniest half hours I had seen in quite a while.

Honorable Mention: Home Movies (Cartoon Network) most of you already know the excellence of this show.

Drama
The Shield (FX)

Im find myself waiting for this show every week...it's extremely well written.

Honorable Mention:
hmm...maybe Alias though I haven't watched it in a while.

I'd have to say Angel for drama and South Park for comedy.

Comedy: It's not on the air this very moment, but Andy Richter Controls The Universe would get my nod. The only other comedy I watch with any regularity is...no, I won't say it. Never. (Even Stevens)

Drama: Angel, though that's probably not what most people think of when they hear the word 'drama'. The only other series along those lines I watch is Buffy, and I currently prefer the spin-off to the original.

No, I don't watch much TV.

I only got a best Drama, and that would be CSI. Nothing compares. Smallville is a drama, I guess, but I just really adore CSI and think of it as a more Drama-like show. (Does that make any sense.... I thought not....)

I barely watch any comedies. Just Aqua Teen really.

Drama: Angel/The Shield.... both are neck and neck for me. This week could be the tie breaker!

Comedy: Scrubs/Will&Grace.... also neck and neck.

Comedy: hmm, right at the moment my favorite comedy is Malcolm in the Middle. I also enjoy Friends

Drama: Close tie between ER and Law&Order. These shows have been my 2 favs for a while. They've both been on a long time, are they as good as they used to be? Of course not, but they both are still great shows.
