According to Jerry Beck's website, www.cartoonresearch.com, Cowboy Bebop will be eliminated from Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, effective September 16. In its place, Cartoon Network will air repeated episodes of The Bob Clampett Show and Toonheads from that night's 9 p.m. hour.
No reason was given for Cowboy Bebop's removal, though the timing of the announcement suggests it may be because of the recent terrorist attacks in Washington D.C. and New York. Furthermore, it is unknown if this is a temporary removal or if Cowboy Bebop will return in the future.
