Mummy Animated Series Musical Score

Does anyone here know if the new Mummy Animated Series thats based on the movies on the Kids WB will feature Musical scores based on the Music from The Mummy Returns composed by Alan Silvestri? Im asking if the show will use Silvestri's Musical Thematic material that he composed for the movie? If anyone has amy Info on this contact me asap. If not can someone please find out. Thanks

Welp, since the show is remaining in the 1930's, I don't think they're gona use techno music(thank god). But, from listening to the background music one the commercials, I'm sure the music will be along the same tune.

Anyway, here's to high hopes for the series..

I don't know for sure, but I seriously doubt it. Animated series based on movies very rarely share any of the supporting staff of the movie. I wouldn't count on it, but stranger things have happened.

Well that would suck then. I really hate it when that happens. When a Animated Show based on a movie does not use that movies Musical Thematic material. I am a strictler for Musical continuity in TV Shows based on Movies . Im a Musical soundtrack fan and I live Film Scores. Like with the Men In Black Series, I was really expecting to hear Danny Elfman's MIB Theme and overall style he composed for the Film, but instead we got this half ass crapy techno theme that really sucks. Th show has no Thematic musical continuity at all. Im not saying to get Alan Silvestri to compose for the series Im only saying for who ever composes the series to use The Thematic material that he composed for the movie. Sure they might compose something that sounds similar.

I am concerned about one thing that seems to be popular in today's TV Shows based on Movies and that is the choice to not use that Movie's Thematic Musical Material. Let me give you an example. Let's say you are watching a Star Wars TV Series and in the opening scenes they have the generic Star Wars Main Title and Crawl up paragraphs against a Starfield, but instead of having the Star Wars Main Theme the composer of the Series decided to compose his own new Theme resulting in alot of dissapointed Star Wars Fans and John Williams Fans(The composer of the Movies)Now the new Theme may sound a lot like the Star Wars Main Theme, but it still is not the Theme we all know and love and that in turn hurts the series. Lets Darth Vader shows up , instead of hearing the Imperial March(Darth Vader's Theme)You hear something that sounds very similar, but still it's not the right Theme.

You see you might think that with a TV Show based on a Movie and it's music it's ok to just have a composer write music and themes that sounds the same as the ones in the movie,but Im here to tell you that that is not enough for us diehard fans, We want the actual Music and Themes from the Movie. It seems that TV Shows based on Movies get everything right, all the details correct to make it feel like the Movie , except the Music they allways seem to miss with that.

My only concern is that they continue with Jonathan and Ardeth Bay's friendship. That got me into the theaters a second time this summer. :D

Do any Saturday Morning cartoons have good music these days? Even Batman Beyond's is a step down from the BTAS soundtrack.
