Why Melody was drawn so young? Pretty easy. BECAUSE IF SHE LOOKED ANY OLDER, ARIEL WOULD LOOK LIKE HER FUNKIN' OLDER SISTER, NOT HER MOTHER. That, and cuz Disney is really kiddifying sequels lately.... remember Lady and the Tramp 2? The hero (Who just looked like a smaller and cuter version of Tramp) was chibified also. Which is a shame, because it gets rid of any "love" angles you can put in.

There are many animated men I find very appealing, but only a few who have really captured my heart.

Dr. Mendel Craven--See a pattern here? I can't help it, I do love techno-geeks! And Mendel is so amazing once you look past the chubby cheeks and the allergy attacks. Besides the fact that he's brilliant in his ability to create robots and gadgetry, he's loyal, caring, stronger and braver than even he knows--what's not to love?

Marsala from ExoSquad--Yeah, he's different from the rest, but his tremendous heart just gets to me. What a big blue sweetheart, willing to sacrifice his feelings for what he feels is better for the one he loves. The ultimate star-crossed lover of animation!

Of course, there are some hot guys out there (Guardian Bob and Matrix, Nick Tatopoulos, Race Bannon), but I tend to really fall for what's inside of characters. I can appreciate the good lookers, but I really love the less than perfect guys with good hearts.

OK OK I admit it, I fancied The Little Mermaid as well!!!

Having said that, I've always had a thing about tough, strong women who could probably break me in two. I pretty much like any of the girls in Batman - with the exception of,obviously, Doll-face (or is it Baby-face..?), and The Red Claw, who's voice just goes straight through me (perhaps not surprisingly, as she's voiced by Kate Mulgrew of Voyager fame...), most of the girls in Street Fighter and Dark Stalkers (except Sakura - c'mon she's a school girl for heaven's sake - what do you think I am..?) :D and the animated Holly Wood from the largely derided "Cool World" (boy, can she shake her tail-feathers...)

Now, I know she isn't a cartoon character, but my "main squeeze" has been, for years now, the Black Widow. Mmmm... a red-head in a black leather cat-suit. Check out JG Jones and George Perez' renditions (Perez' take in his 'Marvel Fanfare four parter is the definative Black Widow, I feel...) and tell me she isn't the sexiest, toughest girl in comics!

Uhm, I just want to clarify something. Leaping Larry Jojo said that Tomoyo/Madison is "kinda gay". Incase you're not a Cardcaptor Sakura fan, I'll just tell you now, EVERYONE on that show is gay. And It's not an insult. If you watch uncut, fandubbed CCSakura, you'll notice that first, Toyomo(Madison) is deeply in love with Sakura. Lee, he's in love his Sakura's big brothers best friend. As is Sakura's big brother! As is Sakura herself. Anyway, pretty much CCSakura is a big ring of "gay love" between elementary-high school kids. It's a pretty revolutionary show. If I were to choose a cartoon babe who did use makeup, it'd be Jem, if only because I'm stuck in a zone where I don't know what generation classification I belong to. My tastes go from the 70s to 1992, so I'm culturally sort of a generation X-er, but I was born in 1982, which by most accounts would make me part of the Britney-and-Bizkit generation, which I think sucks. What a dilemma! What am I?:confused:

I would've said Ariel, but a musical "Saturday Night Live" sketch told me otherwise (Those of you who still watch "Saturday Night Live" will know what I'm talking about. It was a sketch on this season's premeire episode, which featured live-action babe Reese Witherspoon as the host.)

Actually, I'm a bit more dated than that (hah), but the 80s and 90s is when western satam became better written (thanx to writers who grew up on animation longing for something more than Scoobie Doo). Toons became more adult friendly, and characters became far more attractive to me!

She's very down to earth, and can see through your shortcomings, and admired you for who he is despite that. Max may have learned the hard way, but it was worth it in the end.

She's very fun loving, and want's nothing more than a good time.


Andrea Beaumont (Mask Of The Phantasm)
She's a sweet girl, but when she get's pushed to the point where she loses everything, she's determand to get even. Even if it means wearing a dark scarry costume. Determination is a plus for me. She could've been Bruce Wayne's equal, but her vengence resulted her to remain lonley.
