I agree, it is a pretty good site, if still incomplete. I like the detailed descriptions of the supporting characters and villains. However, they need to add MORE of the villains to the list. All they have is Ebon, Hot-Streak, and the Meta Breed. The Episode Guide only goes up to "Gear," but I'm sure it'll be up-to-date sooner or later. The video clips were sweet, it was nice to see Flash merge so well with the Static team. I even sampled the game which was a nice distraction if nothing else.
I think it can only get better from here.

Just saw the promo for on TV. This episode is going to be the highlight of the season. Batman, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter and Flash. It was a good idea to save Superman for another episode. Starting to prep my VCR for next saturday. :) :)

Yup, the JL clip on their website looks pretty exciting... nice action sequence preceding it too. Also, I would like to add that I disagree with pretty much everybody about the theme. The intro clip rules... I'm glad they put it up there, and I think that Lil' Romeo's rhymes complement it nicely. In terms of the music on the show, classical and harder rock orchestrations show up in cartoons all the time, I think that its about time that we hip-hop fans should get something too.

I agree with you ragingdrummerboy about the theme song at first i hated it. But now I kinda like the lyrics, and the beats just not the hook. or it could be that i just don't like lil Romeo.... :p As for the music in the series I love it too !! It me or that old guy{Soul Power} from "Blast for the past" clip look little like 70's Black Lightning.

I thought he looked familiar :D . Anyway the JL cameo clips looks cool. I can't wait to see this next week! Flash looks like he's set to steal the show.

I've gotta question... is the older man who's working with Static in "Blast from the Past" supposed to represent Black Vulcan (from Superfriends) or something?

nah, i think he suppose to be like Black Lightning not that garbage ass character known as Black Vulcan. The only reason there is a Black Vulcan because they couldn't get the rights to Black Lightning. So the people behind Super Friends made a cheap ass copy of Black Lightning which is Black Vulcan.. Anyway I think Soul Power{old guy } is a Tribute to Black Lightning since the creator Tony Isabella{whose DC has a beef with} and Dwayne McDuffie{Static Shock} are such good friends.

Ah... that makes sense... thanks for the info. So... since Static and Black Lightning have similar powers, is the concept of Static Shock influenced by this Black Lightning character? From my understanding, Static was created to be a unique role model that kids could identify with, since he deals with many of the same issues and stuff... I know he has also dealt with racial issues, so I was wondering where the influences for his character were.

From what I remember Dwayne Mcduffie once said that Static was loosly based off of Spider-Man and if you look hard enough you can find the similirities between the two characters.
For more info on this I would go to his site.

A cool little site and a really cool update. I like the little sneek peek to A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN. Has me looking forward to the episode and the talkback (to be done by The Penguin). I think this ep could be a possible highlight to the season...maybe...
