This thread is to test out new vB codes! Maybe I'll chance upon something usefull and more functional to add. We'll see.

And I dare you to look at what's in this magic black box...

Surprise!!!

Once there was some textthat needed to be dividedinto different parts, like this.

Check out <hr></hr> and <hn></hn> by replacing the <>'s with brackets. =)

Just type <spoiler>This</spoiler>, but replace the <>'s with brackets!

Just type <spoiler>This</spoiler>, but replace the <>'s with brackets!

Wow, I was going to ask you to create a spoiler code next time I saw you, but you beatme to it.

I love how the one person who hated the idea of vB code more than anyone is now the one using it to it's fullest potential! :D

Well, I still don't necessarily like it, but if it's all we've got to work with for using html in posts, then I'll push it as far as I can... Just wish it were more flexible, even on the admin side. For example, there's a limit to how many characters you can use when writing the HTML replacement for a vB code command... otherwise I would have made the "Spoiler Space" a lot more aesthetic. As it is, I only had two characters to spare in the HTML field.

Also, I think Harl should include "spoiler" as one of the buttons up top, for every new post, so everyone will know about it. =)

I was trying to type this but I made a mustake. Ehm, I mean I made a mistack. Woops, dang my typing, that was just a missteak... darnit, I give up.

But if you want to make a strikethrough, just type <strike>This</strike>, and replace the <>'s with brackets.

Note that E=MC2 requires superscript.

Also note that if X1=1 and X2=2, then X1 + X2 = 3.

Try out This and This, just replace the <>'s with brackets.

Well, if you look carefully, there's a surprise at the beginning of this thread, in a magic black box... but what if you can't find it? Then I suggest that you click here (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68#here) and find out!

For your target:

<target=***>up here</target>

Replace the <>'s with brackets, replace the ***'s with a unique descriptive name, and put your intended target between the opening and closing tags.

For linking to your target, just use the "http://" code, and append #*** to the end of the url of the thread. An example of what I used in this post is as follows:

<URL=http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68#here>here</URL>

And you know the procedure, replace the <>'s with brackets, use your own descriptive name for the target, and your own target of choice.

Or just paste the url with the #*** bit at the end:

http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68#here

I tried, but I just can't do that one.

It's... a little more tricky than the others. I'm gonna make an edit to your post, then you can re-edit it to see exactly what I did.

Update: I tried it on your post, and somehow it's not working... hrm.

Romey
--That's about all I can think of for new vB codes.

Jack

That's okay, I'll probably never need to use that one anyway, but all the others are very useful!

hee hee!

Well, I'm glad to see my work is appreciated. =)

Now to test the signature thing... with the only appropriate sig possible.

Hmm... A [left] align tag would probably be unnecessary, but a [right] align tag might have its potential uses. I'll give that a try later tonight. Thanks for the suggestion!
