My comments on "Unmasked" not airing

Hey thanks for the opinion. I hope you and your family are okay. Now for a little justification. After reading the comments, about one patron having ten channels covering the same news and then saying, "Comon, ten stations"
irritated me.

One other person said we have another reason to find the culprit because of the little cartoon not airing. Gaiman's Morpheus said, "Intent and outcome rarely coincide." Point is simply this: Spell out what you mean so people like me, the self appointed RTC ;) don't have a fit. Now as my comments being tactless. Maybe. But comon folks, really. Our country is going to war, and some of us bicker because a souless tv company screws us out of a cartoon. In a lot of posts, many people were condemning the wb. No problem, but in the process, some unintentionally slighted our country's plightful situation by placing the need to see a cartoon. God bless us all, in any religious belief, guys, 'cause we are going to need it.

No one here has a problem with your opinions; they are the opinions of others as well. But we do try to be careful in how we express them, and at a time like the present, when we are all on edge, it helps to be extra careful.

Furthermore, I want to make plain that it was NOT because I thought your expressions were inappropriate that I closed that thread; it was because I did not want OTHERS being angered by your tone to jump in. There's a lot of heat out there, and I want to err on the side of caution.

Now that all of that is out of the way (I hope), let me say (with genuine warmth): Welcome to the boards.

And it was a smart move. His post really pissed me off and had you not closed it, I fear I might have been responsible for bringing up new quarrels.
