I'm curious if anyone here watches it and why or why not.

Yes, for one reason, Farscape. The fact that Sci-fi simply cut the money (which is basically the same as cancelling the series) is horrible, but that doesn't stop fans from enjoying the show. And right now, it's good.

I too watch it for only one reason, Stargate SG-1. Sorry, I'm just not a fan of Farscape.

To anwser my own question I used to watch only for farscape but I got obsessed with sg1 (especially after stargate mondays began) and if the writing for Tracker gets any better I'm sure I'll get into that.

I only watch Farscape. That's the only time that Sci-Fi will grace my dial. I've been soured on the channel ever since they shafted their best show. Once Farscape is gone, I'm removing Sci-Fi from my channel list.

I used to watch it religously because of the shows (I-Man, Lexx, The Chronicle, and Farscape). Now I just watch Farscape and once thats gone, Im not watching the channel again until they straighten themselves out.

after reading some of these posts I am surprised by the antimosity felt towards the Sci-Fi channel. :eek: I've been quite happy with them, I just hope that this dosen't scare people away from the new shows like "the Children of Dune" or "Scare Tactics" that will be coming out in the next few months.

There's definitely a lot of animosity towards the channel. They've really screwed their fans purely for the bottom line. That can (and surely will) turn around and bite them on the arse someday...

I remember reading somewhere that some of the Sci-Fi bigwigs said that when "Taken" starts showing, everyone will forget about Farscape. Well, guess what boys... Taken's come and gone and fans are still pining for the eventual premature death of Farscape. They didn't even get to wrap up the plot lines with a series finale, fer cryin' out loud! :mad:
