This may be a little late, but I'd thought I'd comment on this past Saturday's lineup. I usually record everything so I can eat Breakfast and take my medications without missing anything important and then watch Game Show Network. Well, here goes:
What's New Scooby-Doo "Lights, Camera, Mayhem"--not much, just a phantom wreaking havoc at a movie studio. Still good chase sequence though.
JCA "Animal Crackers"--Jade uses the animals they've collected for her school fair project. In case you didn't see the ep before this, Hok-Fu's back! :p Pretty good.
The Mummy: TAS "A New Beginning, Part 1"--Imhotep goes to resurrect a 5,000-year-old priestess from the dead. She's played by Lenore Zann, formerly Rogue on X-Men: TAS. I still find this show enjoyable.
As for the rest, Static Shock you'll find at the DCU board (thought it was great but had a sad ending); Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh you'll find at the Anime board and Ozzy & Drix was just a repeat of the first ep.
These are just my thoughts, of course. I hope I did well with the reviews. Any comments?

I enjoyed the shows I saw on Saturday and found the entire day of shows to be one of the best overall in a while.
What's New Scooby-Doo: This show is starting to find its stride. At first I was disappointed with this show as a whole but the last two episodes really impressed me. I like the little character bits and some of the jokes, even though some of them worked better than others. I love the "wanna Scooby Snack" joke but the "jump the shark" joke missed the mark. I'm not one of those fans who feel that Scrappy ruined the series but that joke probably would have been more effective if a little puppy was running around. One thing that What's New Scooby-Doo has that previous Scooby spin-offs, even the OVAs, were lacking is character. The fact that the members of Mystery Inc. have identifible personalities again is a big plus in my eyes. I don't see this show as a continuation of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You as much as a combination of The New Scooby-Doo Movies and A Pup Named Scooby-Doo with its emphasis on unique situations and character humor based on the "Scooby formula." While the whole "no one got hurt" explanation doesn't make sense when put up to further scrutiny (Velma could have gotten hurt if it wasn't for Shaggy's quick rescue), it was a nice little mysterythat did its job. I do wish Scooby would talk more but considering how hard it is to do Scooby's voice I could understand the writers minimizing the amount of time Scooby has to speak.
Jackie Chan Adventures: I loved this adventure. This was the first time that I could recall Jackie really be angry at Jade. Jackie usually admonish Jade at least once per episode but this is the first time there was real anger in his voice when he told Jade to "stay here" after the animals escaped. Who could blame him for his anger because freeing the animals for a science project was irresponsible. Much have been said about Jade being "too wise for years" but for once she acted her age and it made for a strong conflict. Things wrapped up too neatly at the end but the prospect of starting the quest all over again was a real possiblity. It was also fun seeing Drew's introduction to Jade's world after spending the last two seasons taunting Jade about her "imaginary" adventures. His babbling at the end of the episode was poetic justice.
I already made my comments on Static Shock. Ozzy and Drix was a rerun and I don't watch the Mummy and the WB animes but as I said earlier, qualitywise, I thought this was the best batch episodes I have seen in a while.

Glad to hear it! I'm also glad to hear that Kids WB is still #1! (Seeing it's pushing every other network into the ground.
Now if only they'd switch Pokemon to the FoxBox, I'd really be excited! I know it won't happen for a looooong time, but who knows? Just a thought.
