Movie Possibilities

Who here would think that a movie, animated or otherwise, of any of the following would be a good idea:

Kingdom Come

Watchmen

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns

A Kingdom Come animated movie would just plain rule. I've been wanting one since I first read KC.

Although Watchmen and DKR would make cool animated movies, I think they're be a heckuva lot creepier if they were able to pull of live action. Less rescritions by everyone's favorite group of censors, and I think it would just work better all-around. If they could get someone big enough to play the DKR Batman.

Well, the fans pestered Bruce Timm about doing a JLA series for a long time, and they are finally doing it.. maybe the fans should make it their new mission to try and get a Kingdom Come animated movie?? :D

They would really just need to introduce Captain Marvel into the continuity, he plays a big part in KC, and it would help to have seen him before. Maybe he'll show up in JL?

This is now at the top of my wish list for them to do. Could you imagine this as a movie? It would be so awesome, especially the fight at the end, really powerful...

I think that Hawkman would make a great movie.

For those of you who don't know him like I do, here's why.

The original hawkman (Carter Hall) was the reincarnation of an Egyptian warrior prince. Tha prince, Khufu by name, was a worshipper of Horus the avenger a Hawk-headed god. I think that if they would set the movie in the modern day, with Carter dreaming about his past life. Eventually he would embrace his past and create the Hawkman identity. This is a very, very short version of his story.


Until Hawkman gets a movie............;)

I hope that Terry Gilliam gets his wish and gets to make that Watchmen movie after all. We need a 12 hour movie!

An animated Dark Knight Returns movie would also be awesome.

Yep, just by reading the first post you can tell a lot of replies will request an animated Dark Knight Returns. For hard core/dark Batman fans that is the book to call your bible. I'd love to see it happen.
