Is this a rip-off of "Histeria"..or am I thinking of somthing else?

I'd really like to watch Time Squad, but, I'm not ever able to catch it. I wanna know if it's worth recording and watching later.

Thanks for any replies...I'm looking for new cartoons to watch, as I've lost all faith in Kids WB! .. :)

actually, the first time i watched it that was EXACTLY what i thought of it. it was like a cross between histeria and futurama. seriously. and that kid looks like that kid from the mr. know it all cartoons w/ that weird dog w/ glasses. but its not THAT bad. its kind of funny and has an interesting concept, but its not that great either, and there are alot of unexplained things in it, like why all of a sudden is history going bad?? anyway, compared to the other cartoon cartoons, Power Puff Girls/Samurai Jack being the best and Sheep in the big City/Grim and Evil and all the crappy toons being he worst, i'd say time squad is in the middle. its nothing great, but above the average cartoon cartoon. and if your a mark hamill finatic, he voices the robot. peace.

I always wonder who approves the Cartoon Cartoons that are made that are not part of the Big Pick....

Yeah, it always reminded me of Mr. Peabody even when I just knew it through the commercials, esp. since Otto looks kind of like Sherman. It's nothing special, but I'll watch it if nothing else is on.

I thought it will be a H! replacement for the first time. Heck maybe in the future that H! will be on CN after Time Squad.

I haven't seen it (keep missing it), but I was also reminded of the Mr. Peabody segments when I saw that little Sherman kid in the commercials. I think he's supposed to look like Sherman.

i think the Histeria! influence is there. But I think that the show takes more after Sherman and Mr. Peabody. Otto is a rip-off of Sherman, and the robot is a futuristic rip-off of Mr. Peabody. Toddrussel is just there for comic relief.

--another TS/H! connection: Tudrussel's voice is provided by Rob Paulsen, using the same one he did for Andrew Jackson in "Super Amazing Constitutions!" Hoooo-ey!

I thought the ads for "Time Squad" (with Lincoln, etc.) were a hundred times better than the show. I was really excited to see it, and wasn't very impressed.

But I'm a history nut. It's hard to please me. :p

The Robin Hood in the commercials also sounds a lot like the voice Paul Frees used for various characters on the Bullwinkle show, most memorably as Inspector Fenwick in the Dudley Do-Right shorts.

Well personally I think the whole time travel thing was done with H.G. Well's "Time Machine"......which later took a twist in Peabody's Imporbable History segments (from the Bullwinkle show). That later led to Histeria and thus Time Squad. I personally don't like the Buck character, but I think Otto and Larry are a hoot.

Also, Otto looks a lot like Sherman from the Peabody segments...I smell conspiricy! LOL.
