*Mods this isn't about the movie*

Well Todd Mcfarlane's (Creator of Spawn) company has come out with the highly anticipated line of toys Monsters 2 where he and his company do their twisted version of the characters from the good ol' Wizard of Oz. While I myself was pretty much disappointed by the toys they are still raising eyebrows and moving lips (Especially Dorothy's figure pun intended lol). Well to SEE what I'm talking about click HERE (http://www.spawn.com/toyfest/catalog/monsters2.aspx) and click on each characters name and then look at their 3 pictures the third pic shows how the toy would appear if you bought it. I'm interested in seeing how people react to the twisted take on a old movie.

I myself don't really like any other then Dorothy and not just cause I'm a guy or anything but cause its a wonderful twist on the character and is simple without having to be tortured, bloody or anything like the others. Overall I LOVED the idea of a new take on the Wizard of Oz characters but am disappointed by the final product. Look forward to replies...

And I don't think I want to have anymore night mares with these toys.

WTF?! Man, those are the most sick and twisted things I've ever seen. And that Dorothy is about as perverse as one can get. This is just a sick take on something that was once an innocent children's story.

No, the bondage and morbid images aren't what make it sick. The fact that these things are on characters from a children's book are what makes it sick. From an un-Wizard of Oz point of view, I think they kick ass, especially the Lion and the Tinman. But it just seems... wrong.

With the exception of a mildly interesting take on The Wizzard, that's just wrong!

What in the world possed Todd to do this?

Uhh....I'm afraid I have to shut this down. Toon Zone forums are all-ages, and the link is somewhat explicit.
