Yes, BATMAN ADVENTURES is a May release book.
No, it wasn't listed in the May solicits.
Wha? How did THAT happen?
Well... Due to advance planning for FREE COMIC DAY (May 3) it was listed back in teh March solicits.
But it WILL come out in May. Honest.

So here's your BATMAN ADVENTURES schedule:

May 3rd: Batman Adventures #1 makes its debut, offered as a free comic!
May 7th: Batman Adventures #1 Newsstand Edition comes out at its regular price.

And THEN...

May 21st: Batman Adventures #2 comes out! Get your 2nd dose of Batman Adventures this month! Woo hoo!
And then the book goes on to its regular monthly schedule. Aww shucks!

What's coming up in these issues?

Hey Dan,

Don't forget your Arkham Asylum series is also coming out this month as well, with art by new Detective Comics artist Ryan Sook (beginning with #788). I am really looking forward to this mini-series. The premise intruiges me! Plus, we'll see the dark and oh-so-scary side to Dan!

Plus, did anyone catch that new Human Defense Corps mini-series being written by Ty? Has me interested....

Looks to be a good month! I'll definitely be picking up my usuals, Batman, Catwoman, Gotham Central, Harley Quinn, and Nightwing. I'll also get the Batman Adventures #1 and Batgirl Year One # 6. And since I've been getting the recent storyline, I guess I'll finish I'll probably get Birds of Prey too.
