Unmasked will not air reply

Okay so the majority of the posts I read were, "Sorry, don't wanna step on anybody's toes." Then an onslaught of, "I wanted to see Batman Let's move on!"
Most of you people must be teenagers. I would hope you are as to that being your only narrow excuse for being so da** blantantly stupid and selfish! You all are crying because a cartoon didn't air. Oh grow up! I wanted to see the cartoon as well. Any Batman did, but put your own petty needs aside. Hug your mommmy if you have one. Many now do not. I'm 26 when The Challenger exploded news coverage broke in. I was a selfish little one that couldn't understand the gravity of the situation. Reconsider your prioritized values. To quote someone you real fans recognize, "One day makes all the difference!" Just wait. We'll see the little cartoon. I only hope you people realize the magnitude of our country's plight. ;)

The vast majority here have accepted the "Unmasked" situation with grace and composure. And the point has already been made -- far more delicately than you have -- that as far as tragedies go, this doesn't even qualify.

I would also ask you to remember a bit of context behind the frustration: "Unmasked" has been sitting on the KWB shelf for about a year now as the network has diddled around with it and Batman Beyond in general. The exasperation felt is not directed at the fact that "Unmasked" didn't air in the wake of Tuesday's terror attack, but that the network, through its own confusion and ineptitude, didn't air it sooner -- a complaint that is perfectly valid, and does not reflect any lack of perspective on the horror we have just witnessed and suffered.

Anyway, if you're going to make this point, I would ask you to make it in a more dignified and less venomous fashion. The participants on these boards are in fact strikingly mature and intelligent, and it does you no credit to attack them in this way.

ADDED: I want to make clear my reasons for closing this thread.

I was concerned that the tone of this post (and not its content, which is expressed elsewhere without rancor) might cause offense to other posters and lead them to flame back. I wanted to remove the temptation. The closing in no way was meant to reflect the ideas expressed, and was intended only to prevent others from making intemperate replies.
