View Full Version : Does Arkham exist in Batman Beyond?
I know that Barbara said that the asylum had been moved, but I can't recall any ep making reference to Arkham still in use. I ask for fic purposes.
Thanks in advance,

Terry mentions it in Splicers to Dr. Cuvier, as in " Ever think of checking into Arkham for some R & R?" but I think the reference was purely along the lines of urban legend. In ROTJ, they show Arkham as burned out, wasted, destroyed. After that, there's no real evidence that any asylum also named Arkham still exists.

Yup - /however/, in the episode with False Face (can't remember name of ep right now) the government lets ....ummmm.. you know, that guy ...(my memory appears to be temporarily shot) NEway, ...The Stalker! I just remembered! I'm not going senile after all!
Ok, so they let the stalker out /from an asylum/. I belive the shot of that particular lunny bin was showing the replacement of Arkham in which psycho's in the Beyond timeframe were being put into. Since I don't thnik a name was mentioned (correct me if i'm wrong) feel free to make up your own.
later and good luck
Ah. Thanks, guys, for the info! I'm loath to make up another name . . . Arkham has just such a neat, crazy tone to it . . .

My suggestion - pick something with meaning behind it. I am a history major so I think it would be cool if the name had something to do with the history of lunacy... hmmmm, maybe I'll look into that...
