Bravo will be airing a shortened version. The whole thing is supposed to air on IFC sometime lter, in November, I think. My cable system is discontiuing carriage of IFC this month, sadly.

This should be a great special tonight, and I do hope the producers cover his years as a independent animator at his three years at MGM.

They did show some of the work he did for Pat Powers. There were some Flip the Frog cartoon clips, as well as Comicolor cartoon clips including Balloonland and Humpty Dumpty with original titles.

They skipped the period between the time that he lost Powers' distribution and his rejoining Disney. I was somewhat disappointed in this.

Well, Jerry B. told us that an edited to 45 minutes version would air on BRAVO. The full 90 MINUTE version is being released on VHS, with two bonus B&W Mickeys (I think they're "Plane Crazy" and "Steamboat Willie").

You mean the full 90-minute version isn't going to be available on video? I saw an ad for the video after the documentary.

The full-length version will be on video-I was merely trying to point out that IFC will air the full version for anyone that gets IFC. My apologies for any inadvertant confusion.
