I can't wait until December.
Walt Disney Treasures are becoming a Christmas tradition around here. :)

Finally Donald Duck gets a set of his own (although he has a good amount of screen time in "Mickey Mouse in Living Color") in the same year that he comes back to comic books! Hooray for Donald Duck!

I got all three this year, all but Davy Crockett last year, and I'll be getting these four.

On these Donald sets, I hope they plan on showing all of the shorts that are not already on other sets... I got the indication that some risque shorts would be gone...

We don't have to worry about that. We've got Leonard Maltin giving a disclaimer about them. After all, we got controversial shorts on the other sets didn't we?

When it comes to releasing classic theatrical cartoons on dvd, then Disney is king in the dept.

By the way, folk, I have (like the rest of you) been searching for a copy of "Mickey Mouse In Living Color". I deeply regret not getting it at a warehouse chain store that I won't name here (I saw this in December). Now two months later I find it on a certain auction site and they want no less than $60 (they go higher, don't they...considering it's a limited edition).
So rather then spend the dough altogether, I rented it from this mail-chain DVD rental service (rhymes with Pet Clicks), and I was happy I did...I was even lucky enough to see it for rent at all.
It is so good to see those Mickey color cartoons again...even though about half the cartoons are reissue prints with reissue titles (without the United Artists and RKO bylines).
When WB finally releases its Looney Tunes DVDs (if they ever do), my dough will be ready.

"...WarTime, delayed because it needed more work, it will include the 1944 animated feature Victory Through Air Power, plus never-before-seen cartoons, such as Donald's Academy Award-winning Der Fuerer's Face and Education For Death..."

All three of those sets seem good, although I will need to find out about the cartoons included before deciding for sure.

Looks like another great set of Disney Treasures, and I would not hesistate to pre-order these DVDs, especially the WarTime DVD edition. The never-before-seen cartoons makes that particular Treasures title a must-have, in my opinion. :)
It'll be intresting to find out how many DVD sets they will be issuing for each title. I just hope they won't reduce the number of sets even further.

Well take my advice everyone, that when the next "Disney Treasures" volume sets come out in December, better get the wartime collection first, as that will be the major hot seller out of the next batch and I wouldnt't be surprised if the Wartime collection outsells the previous 2 DT collectors edtions sets.I did hear tat Disney will put a warning sticker on this collection about the cartoons presented on that newest set.I have already made plans to get this the very first day it comes out along with the Donald Duck collection.
