Understand, I'm not trying to make light of what happened. Just trying to give an outlet for everyone's revenge fantasies for right now.
On another note, World's Finest(?) moderator Vince's uncle may be one of the missing.

...on Howard Stern's radio show--which is based in New York, so they were practically at ground zero-- callers claimed that the bombing of the Trade Center was like castrating America and that we should rebuild the Towers to show those s.o.b.'s we are not weak and will not succumb. I applaud the spirit, but I don't know about resurrecting the mighty giants. Too many ghosts in too many corners.
As for punishment, I'm inclined to say public assassination with the proceeds given to treating the survivors and burying the dead. I'm only hoping Bush the younger won't be faced with the same decision Truman had to make 50 years ago--dropping an atom bomb on an entire nation.

They should be arrested, tired, and prosecuted according to our laws. This is more torture than an assasin's bullet or a noose...our laws which they oppose put an end to their disregard for human life.
For someone as dangerous as Bin Laden, I think death would be the punishment in the trial. Firing squad? Electric chair? Gas chamber? Lethal injection? Hanging?
Bin Laden should be put to death while the rest should be put in jail for LIFE without parole.

Killing Bin Laden seems the only way to be safe. If he could pull off this mess, he could pull off an escape. Also, if the mafia can run their operations from prison, he might be able to also. We need to make an example out of these people, and also make sure that they can't hurt anyone again.
