Well, I don't know about anyone else, but the best way for me to stay calm & secure about all this, is to try to keep busy, so here's some discussion for now..

What is everyone excited about seeing on Saturday Morning? I know this season we don't have many great shows, but hey, this will be our entertainment for the next couple of months(heck, I'm sure Fox Kids has learned from their mistake of taking a show off the air right away..they're regretting it in spades).

Personally, I'll be watching Alienators: Evolution, & The Mummy as my two main shows. Big Ghostbusters/Anything Ivan Reitman(I loved his "Mummies Alive" show. That was one of the best shows ever), so I have good hopes for Evolution..not to mention it was a great movie, and I'm gona stand by it. Then, The Mummy, simply because I looooved those movies. And from visiting www.themummytv.com , I have great hope that this series is going to stay very accurate to the movies, only just at a younger level. Anywho..

X-Men evolution is expected to have a good season. It is SO great to see so many RARE characters showing up this season.

Jackie Chan. I don't know what it is about this show..I mean, it's corny, and just..goofy. But I guess that's why I love it sooo much.

I watched the first couple of Digimon episodes...it is so much more mature than any of these other monster shows. I just love the overall feel. It's so...grown up! It's like the many other great anime's out there...only with Monsters. Crazy, but soo good.

I MUST mention The Ripping Friends. I always thought a Powder-Toast-Man show would be the greatest thing ever...but this is close enough! HA!

Anyway. I'm keeping an open mind about all the shows. But those are the most exciting ones to me.
opinions?

I'm looking forward to Jackie Chan, that show is just hilarious. I love it.

And I guess X-men evolution to soothe the drama lover in me. I'm not a big fan of Xmen, but it's ok. Otherwise, I think that's it.

Oh yeah, I bet The Tick is gonna be really funny, but that's going to be on prime time, so i guess it doesn't count. I hope it does well, the cartoon was great.

I haven't seen enough of the new season of Digimon. RockItShipper says it's a bit slow, but if it's "character oriented slow" then I'll buy it. If it's plodding slow, then forget it.

Ripping Friends on yet? I've waited for this for a while now.

I wonder what ABC has up their predictable sleeves this season? Well, I'd like to see something different there.

The only thing I might try to catch is The Ripping Friends. I loved Ren and Stimpy during the Spumco run and hope that this will be just as great. Your praise of it, Jack, really makes me look forward to it. I think that I slept through it last weekend but I'll try to catch it during this one.

I just don't care much about the Fox and KidsWB toons anymore. If I wake up early (early for me anyways), I usually watch Looney Tunes on CN.

I will check out Xmen Evolution I have all the figures even though I didn't see all of the first season. Jackie Chan is an awesome show. Its just like his movies, comedy and action together. I'd say Justice League but that's not on Saturday mornings.

Ripping Friend will premiere this coming weekend on FOX KIDS. It premiered on the 7th up here in Canada and I've already seen 4 episdoes. And..it's...well...very weird. It is funny though. not as good as REN & STIMPY (the John K. stuff) it is still gut busting and funny. I can't see the show fitting in on FOX KIDS though. This is totally against the grain of every show they currently air.

...my KWB feed tends to act up sometimes, and I don't know if I want to sit and watch a bad feed for four hours, overtaxing my eyes and thumb to the limit, if they're broadcasting dung. Pokemon and Jackie Chan are returning favorites...I want to see if season 2 of X-Men: Evolution is an improvement...rather dreading Yugioh and The Nightmare Room...Cubix is sort of bookended between two shows I want to watch, which is TV's oldest trick: stick crap between a couple of A-list shows because it's too much bother to diddle with changing the satellite and then come right back 30 min. later....can't say on The Mummy because I never saw the movies...any I missed?
And I do want to see The Ripping Friends--the ads have piqued my interest. "Fox Kids rips a big one!" I knew sooner or later someone else would turn it into a flatulence joke....

There aren't any shows on Saturday that I'm really jumping up and down waiting to see. Probably the show I'm looking forward to most on Saturday is X-Men:Evolution, but I think I'll watch all the new shows on Kids WB! on Sat. morning. I like to give all new shows a chance. What I'm looking forward to most in the hopefully near future are the new Zeta Project episodes, whenever they finally decide to show "Unmasked", and Batman Beyond moving to CN.

I'll be looking forward to X-men: Evolution, hopefully this seson is much better then last.

Next is Jackie Chan, I must admit, I've laughed a few times while watching this show, so I'm looking forward to this season. I just hope they focus more on Jackie then Jade this time.

As for Ripping friends, I'll be honest, I've never really ever heard of that show. Mainly because I don't really watch Fox Kids anymore, but I'll watch it to see if it's any good.

I'm gonna get cable next week! (I've been following events on the radio and internet--easier than watching pictures, I'm sure.)

So soon I'll be able to have opinions on Ripping Friends, Adult Swim, Samurai Jack, and all the rest!

:D :D :D :D :D

Hurray! Although as far as Saturday mornings are concerned, I look foward to Sci-Fi's MST3K reruns most of all. Sorry, guys!

Congrats on getting cable, Maxie! :D

When I heard the Ripping Friends was made by Ren & Stimpy's creator, I got a lot more amicable to it. And I HOPE Powder-Toast Man makes an apperence....it'd be the perfect in-joke! Heck, his eppys in Ren &Stimpy were classic....a boy he saved turned to dust from PTM's speed...cruel, but funny! ;)

And I look forward to reruns of Spongebob Squarepants on Nick. That's pretty much it, nothing else intrests me.

I'm looking forward for new episodes of Dexter's Lab. This show rocks. Dee Dee is cute, Pepper is also cute too. I love both of them. I wish Histeria make new episodes on CN, but those jerks at KWB screw it up.

Powerpuff Girls, I can't wait for the movie in the summer of 2002.

New episodes of Time Squad, Fairly Oddparents, Grim and Evil, and Invader Zim, can't wait!!!! AH HA HA!!!!!:D

Well, we're going to have to wait until September 29 for Kids' WB! Big Premiere, due to this week's tragic's events. I can't care that it's delayed, I think KWB is acting smart.

This being the first season I'm watching from A to Z, and in a lanuage I'm just starting to pick up... It's a bit slow, but I don't watch the show for plot as much as the little character bits and the catchy music of the original.

I'm still paying for episodes and all, if only because "Henry" and Takato are so cute (I suppose even on their own...?) . Got some doujinshi with 'em one the way... I'm just hoping these kids get an ambgious ending because last season's ending SUCKED!
