I had the EXACT same thought.
My mom said that today should be the last day of full-fledged news on it (how much MORE can you report on it?!). I hope so.....if we miss unmasked..then that gives us even more reasons to wanna find the culprits.
And I'm getting 2 WB stations now..it's really rather odd....both of which are airing the news...I have like over 10 stations now airing the same news...come on people...TEN stations??

I am worried about this also. I really doubt there will be any more news about this for a while, and even if there is, there are about 20 other stations that can show it! This is just one more excuse to not show Unmasked. I'm tellin ya, if KWB does not air Unmasked, I will be sending them one nasty letter!
See ya!

At least you all have a chance to SEE Unmasked. I don't get KWB. Just CN.
Ah well... I'm one of the lucky ones. I'm getting JLA and BB :D
Here there are pretty much TWO stations which don't have pure news on them. I realize this is an awful tragedy, but must every station out there have 24/7 news on it? Nothing else even happened. And they still keep showing and showing it and showing it... Even MTV stopped everything for it.
OK... I'm wearing out the soap box...

No Outlaw Star... *sob sob* :(

IT sucks because Brian Cruz has just told us that we will not be seeing it.

At least you are alive to see it when it does air, I'm sure someone will air it eventually. But guess what, there are a lot of people that aren't alive to see it any more. So stop whining about how you're missing your cartoon shows because all they show on TV is news about this tragedy, the worst America has ever seen. Is it that big of a deal if we see Unmasked or not? No, it isn't, not by a longshot. Show some respect.
Imagine getting all excited, and the opening credits roll, the title reads "Unmasked" and then a news report busts in just to update you on whats already happened for 15 minutes just in time for us to get back to the end of the show. Now that would really suck. And if those guys attack again during the show, Ill personally go rip their balls off.

....my WB feed is usually intermittent and I often have to diddle with the buttons on the remote to get a good picture. Makes my eyes and thumb hurt. So I'd rather sacrifice a bad feed now to Emergency Number Bombing coverage and wait until "Unmasked" gets put into CN's package so I can watch it on a clear feed. If the Saturday morning programming gets preempted...well, I'll have nothing to review, if Fox and ABC are also running news. Might be a pretty thin morning with nothing but Braceface, The Howard Stern Show, and Three Stooges reruns..... :(

Well, yes. Points well taken.
But life continues, and part of life continuing consists in rolling your eyes in bemused frustration at the many small and unimportant complications that follow after something huge like this.
Actually, I've been very struck and awfully pleased with the patience and understanding shown on these boards to KWB's decision. Insofar as people here really are complaining, it has to do with the absurd comedy of errors on the network's part that brought us to this pass. To have "Unmasked" pulled now, and for an excellent reason and after so many bad ones, just adds insult to our previous injuries.

You think THAT'S bad? I had no less than three cable stations decide that they didn't want to air ANYTHING for 24 hours in honor of the victims. While I mean no disrespect for either any of the victims or their families, and no insult to the person who posted the rant about showing respect for the people who can't watch anything because they're dead, but I really don't think that if any of MY family had been on board any of those planes or inside the buildings that were bombed, the LAST thing I'd be concerned about would be WHAT'S ON TELEVISION! Instead of a show of support, I saw viewing a blank screen as a slap in the face to "surviving" viewers depriving them of their favorite shows, which could have provided a form of levity in this horrible time, and an excuse for employees to be lazy and "take the day off." I could understand it for some networks that are stationed in New York and must obviously be suffering from technical difficulties from the aftermath, but networks like QVC and HGTV are located in the South. Most of the other cable stations also realized that the news could be covered on their partner news stations and thankfully "returned to normal" within a few hours. I think that's why most of us are making comments like this; if I have to think about "all the people who can't watch TV anymore", I get too depressed. The last thing this world needs is any more deaths from people who become so depressed over what happened that they think they can't live in this world anymore, so commit suicide. Give me "distractions" like cartoons any day!

I think it's a matter of showing respect. Any network or station manager risks looking like a hardhearted profit-monger if he or she doesn't concentrate on the news and returns to normal programming. And most, I think, would feel guilty about running normal fare as though nothing had happened.
It is a legitimate worry that they have.

I think the bottom line here is that sometimes we take too much for granted, at the top of the list is our "TV time". I'm thankful to be alive and maybe someday I'll get to see Unmasked, but right now, it's one of the last things on my mind...
