Ok, I just got done watching four of the discs and I have a question. Is Griffith really gay, or did he really have sex with that noble just for the money? I don't think he would actually be gay because he's "courting" the princess and he's always got girls all over him, plus before he killed the noble he told him that he never loved him. So yah, just wondering if you can help me straighten this out for those who have seen it and know the answer.

I don't think sex is very important to Griffith. I think he's willing to do whatever he needs to do to pursue his dream of power. If that has to do with a wealthy, perverted nobleman, so be it... and if it had to do with a shy little princess, so be it. I don't think he could really be considered straight or gay in the way you and I understand it... but I've only watched the episodes that are out on DVD right now, so my knowledge of his character may be incomplete in that respect.

Griffth doesn't care about sex at all. His main and only goal is to earn power at any cost. And that includes his body.

I just watched the last eight episodes last night. Griffith will do anything for power, which he needed money for. That includes sex. He's not gay, he just saw it as easy cash.
