i own both parts of the OAV on VHS and i have to agree that it is pretty damn cool. Yakumo is the typical guy, no special powers at all at the begining of the OAV then wham, he is an immortal zombie.

Pai is a cutey too.

lots and lots of gore, this is a horror anime after all, and Benarus is one of the coolest villans.

on a side note, the manga is incredible in the way the story progresses and i feel that they should try and animate the rest of the storyline out.

Its an ok series. Though it brought out my sicker side. I actually laughed at the parts where the guys gets mash, sliced, and bashed. Maybe I need to see a doctor. :D
