With all of these toons, video games, and toys about to become movies, like for the upcoming sequel for Tomb Raider, The upcoming "Garfield" movie at 20th Century Fox with Peter Hewitt (Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey) directing and a "Hot Wheels" movie with the help of "Charlie's Angels" 1 and 2 director McG, and a "Where's Waldo?" movie with the director of "Like Mike" with Paramount and Nickelodeon Movies and "Hong Kong Phooey" at Warner Brothers and a "Underdog" movie with Disney and Spyglass Entertainment. and a "Johnny Bravo" movie with The Rock at Warner Brothers.

I wish that any day now when they make these sort of announcements. I think there should be a Live Action adaption of Sonic The Hedgehog to come to the Big Screen along with his best friends Tails and Knuckles and they should be CGI. While Robotnik would be live action. It's not going to be like the 1993 "Super Mario Brothers" movie many of you are thinking about. No i think the movie should have a big marketing campeign kind of like ala "Spider Man" or "Terminator 3" to draw big crowd's. Look what it did for the Original "Tomb Raider". It would be the biggest thing of the "video game" genre movies!

You may find this idea kind of wierd and is going to be bad and you might think they would look ugly in CGI. But i think it's a good idea whether movie snobs admit it or not. It would have go in the same hype Tomb Raider did.

If i chose the movie company to buy the right it could be either Revolution Studios, Dreamworks Pictures, or 20th Century Fox.

But Revolution Studios is my top choice because they release the best movies ever since it was first released in 2001.

I think it's time that make it. It's a good bet that it would be great to see are buddy's Sonic, Tails, Knuckles again that should have a cool teaser trailer that should play the "Baby, i'm ready to go" song in the background. So What do ya say Holywood give Sonic a chance. Whether movie snobs admit or not.

We'll sure hope so!

That's news of an upcoming CGI Sonic movie produced by Ken Penders. If you don't know who Ken Penders is, he's the one who writes for the Knuckles stories from the Sonic Archie comics. The movie seems to bit more Sonic Archie comic-based than game-based.

Not really sure if this project would fall through, though.

I don't understand it. Exactly why is there a "need" to make/watch a Sonic movie? Don't tell me this is nostalgia talking again, please...

Nope. There are alot of people who like the Sonic Saga that's presented in the comic book, which to it's credit does do a good job into making the Sonic World into a place full of rocking adventure.

Sonic's still quite alive in the media with games, a soon to come anime, and comic books, so I wouldn't say it was nostalgia as much as it's what the fans want.

I hope the project goes thru. there was quite an uproar between fans on his message board a few days ago between peoplecomplaining they don't want it in favor of the Sonic X anime series. then the people that did want it

I ocnsider myself a Sonic fan and will probably watch either one of them and like them almost automatically (Sonic Underground SUCKED tho)

but yes this is more of a continuing fan appreciation insterad of Nostalgia

This is something that I've been hopeing for sence I first started playing the games. One thing I would like would be if knuckules and jule-su's dughter has a cameo in at lest one of the movies, I thought she was so cute when I first saw her.

Ohhhhhhhhh....... it's gonna happen, alright. It's gonna happen. They've already got contests goin' and everything. I'm not worryin'. The one thing I am worried about... a Where's Waldo movie? Whack.

P.S. I liked the live-action Scooby enough. But Hong Kong Phoey is gonna kick *****!!! Dude, I haven't seen that cartoon in years!!!

Over and out. :tom:
