For those that never heard of SG-1000 you can see a bit of history here Sega Base - Older Systems (http://www.atani-software.net/segabase/SegaBase-OlderSystems.html) near the bottom under Sega's first system.

This system is a key bit of history as it is Sega's first system. Sad that many in North America don't know it and think the SMS was Sega's first just becouse the SG-1000 never left Japan.
