If it's a bad cartridge connector on the NES, you can fix it yourself really easily. The replacement part can be ordered from MCM Electronics for about $5, and all you have to do is take apart the NES, unplug the old connector, plug in the new one, and put it back together.

And that's where I'd have a problem. The "putting it back together" bit. ^_^

It really isn't any problem putting it back together. Of course, you may end up with too many or too few screws... :D It has way too many screws in it; most of the time to fix it is to remove and put back in about 10-15 of them.
