i think this would be a wonderful followup to home movies if it was made to a series.. saw the most recent one just now and thought it was so funny...

what are your thoughts?

i think it's fine as a short. shouldn't become a series

I'm with livingfruitvirus, it's alright as a short (gives a couple chuckles) but I think a series would be stretching it.

I think that it works fine as a short. They should definitely hire Soup2Nuts to make another season of Watering Hole episodes.

Watering Hole is more of a ...."Take a break from the regular programming and watch a short filler" show.
Deffinately not worthy of a full episode time slot.

I really don't like Watering hole. it didn't make any sence, they just jambbered on and on...w..wait. this is the same crew as Home Movies. that explains alot.....

*gives evil eye*

anyway, i like the new watering hole shorts, probably my 2nd favorite next to wonder twins, but it really doesn't work well as an entire show.

Anything could work well as a series if it's done right.

At first glance a show about a pack of fries, milkshake and ball of meat doesn't sound very promising, y'know.

Watering Hole is funny but should be stuck to being little shorts like The New Wonder Twins. I do think that Soup2Nuts should make Saddle Rash into a regular series.

I second that Saddlerash one... There's so much that can be done... I want to hear about Inez and Buffalo Bill...

I disagree about Saddlerash. I just didn't really like the show that much. The whole buffalo dressed as people was funny the first time but after that the show lost it's appeal to me.

I love the shorts, but an actual series would definitely be stretching it just a little bit. There's only so much you can do with the concept, and that wouldn't be enough to fill several twenty-two minute episodes, or even twelve minute episodes.

I wouldn't mind seeing a 12 minute special of of it, see waht can be done. I think they've definitely got got some strong character types working there. The cranky monkey, the philosophical walrus (was it a walrus?), the agreeable moose and so on. But the only female so far has been the aging opossum. Maybe the women just don't come around the bar much. But you can't have much of a show without female characters (Ripping Friends?).

The critique that I don't think I've heard is that it is partly a rip off of Nick Park's Creature Comforts (Zoo creatures talking about their living accomodations)

It would be nice to see a show of where the old characters are around the water cooler. It would be nice to see a series of where they are at the office.
