as awesome as having Onizuka as a teach would be, I don't think the constant threat of having my teach fired for his last crazy stunt would be a great leraning environment. Kazami's class would probably be more along my my line. :D

Onizuka. Class would be fun and educational if he was around when I went to school. :D

Onizuka, but I'm not sure the girls in my classes would feel the same way. XD

That would be a class that every one payed attention too though I doubt that half would even pass the test. Its called the bounce affect after all :p

Nueno Meisuke, AKA Nube. His class may only be 5th grade, but due to his exorcism job, he and his class comes across a wide array of monsters, spirits and other supernatural situations. Besides, he himself is crazy and not all there a good chunk of the time. But at least he is still a good teacher.

I second that. Scarily enough, I had a teacher somewhat like him....Only not an exorcist.

Yomiko Readman.
That girl is a dork who reads books. She's my kinda woman. And she can manipulate paper as a super power. Now that just kicks ass!

In the manga, she likes to give out a lot of book reports! :D

Technically, it's Mizuho Kusanagi, but yeah, I think I'd like to have her as teacher rather than the other options. Granted I look kinda like Kei (mop top hair, glasses, soft spoken), so that could be another reason. ;)
BTW, the Onegai Teacher manga is pretty good. Like the TV series, but a little tighter pacing wise. Not like that'll stop me from getting the dvds when bandai releases them.

Gotta be Onizuka. Class would never have been boring, that's for sure. Alas, all I got were old Science teachers and bitter old ladies from Zaire who told our whole class we were all going to burn in hell.

O.-;;;; Methinks thou beist in the wrong topic. This ain't people you wanna sleep with, and none of those girls are in the teaching profession.

I think you're sort of missing the point of the thread...

I'd have to pick Washu, a mad scientist for a science teacher is always interesting.
I've never heard of these other characters before.

Truth be told, they are from series that are fairly new. Some of them (Mahoromatic, Onegai Teacher, Read or Die and Azumanga Daioh, which hasn't even been licenced offically) have yet to be released stateside. All of them are good shows, but for very different reasons.
