Superman Song

Has anyone heard this? I don't know who it's buy, but it's called Superman. It's a good song. I'm not sure if it's actually about Supes and how hard his life is, or if it's about how little that made-up life is and that we're all Supermen. Either way, it's a cool song. Wonder if WB will use it for Smallville's theme.

well, it could be by "five for fighting"..my neighbor actually heard the song and bought the CD..which is how I know.

From how you describe said song, it makes me pretty sure you're speaking of the tune called "Superman's Song" by the Crashtest Dummies. This song was, I'm almost certain, spurred by the "Death of Superman" event, as it came out around that time, and spoke the simple heroism of The Man of Steel.

--turning on your TV and hearing "Sunshine Superman" by Donovan as the opening credits to Smallville roll? It's a great song, but it may be too upbeat for "Superdawsons's Creek", and if the show tanks, who wants a great song like that sullied by being associated with it?
