I don't know if anyone has tried to access American Movie Classics' web site this morning, but I tried, and it displays this URL in the address bar:

http://www.amctv.com/amc/sniffer/0,2870,,00.html

It will show a blank screen, and no matter how many times you try to go to another site, it'll keep trying to load the AMC page.

If you try to go offline, it'll show this message:

The URL you requested is not available off line.
http://www.amctv.com/amc/flash/cookie/1,2893,1,00.....

Don't know what has happened. Anyone who can figure out what's wrong, let me know.

I went to the American Movie Classics (http://www.amctv.com) website a few minutes ago. Also got a blank white screen that reloaded itself to the AMC homepage. There was a mention at the bottom of this page that the site now makes extensive use of Flash, Shockwave, and Quicktime.

It doesn't navigate as smoothly for me as the old AMC site did.
