WB officially announced a month ago that they still have plans to release one or two more direct to video movies featuring either, Superman, Batman or Batman Beyond. My question is, which do you want to see? Personally, i would like to see a follow-up to ROTJ and another for BTAS. Even though this may not happen, wouldn't it be cool if it did?

Given the fact that WB has basically put nails in Batman Beyond's coffin, I think a Batman Beyond video would be highly desired right now by many fans. But if that's not going to be a reality, then I most want to see a DTV of Batman, as he was in the original animated series. Thats the best animated Batman ever, and to see that style again and that creative team at work again would be awesome.

U know, like they did with Buffy. Too bad they don't do the same for animation. Imagine if Cartoon Network had the power to restore the series on their channel. It's farfetched, but i'm still angry that we've been robbed, there was so much we didn't know about Terry....

If Batman Beyond does REALLY well in the ratings at Cartoon Network, it could be renewed for new episodes. The show was not cancelled, from what I understand, just no new episodes were ordered, so there is hope yet, but it would have to do monsteroulsy good numbers for Cartoon Network to place a new order for episodes.

Yup, we've heard it. :)
Anyway, what's really going on is that we're going to get a series of videos in which Batman teams up with another character. The guest-stars, confirmed by a source close to Paul Dini, are scheduled to be Green Arrow, Zatana, Plastic Man and Superman.

It's gonna be BATMAN, not BATMAN BEYOND. WB has basically thrown BB to the sharks and has no intent to save it.

Man, what did they have against Batman Beyond? Did it push their "envelope"? It was just as violent as the original BTAS

Exactly. It wasn't apart of the new image KWB wasn't to use...

First off let me say a huge welcome back from whatever hiatus Rahziel had to be on. This is a BB fan people! Gotta love him. :)
Anyway....
Hey, Batman's a survivor people, through any odds. Once CN sees the great ratings BB pulls in, I'm sure they'll wanna buy a couple of seasons. Chin up! :D
In recent months I've learned we can't blame anime or pokemon specifically for Batman Beyond's end. What's important to be doing is to get a great show like that back on.

Sure we can. I personally blame Pokemon for the revival of Carrot Top, the continuing failure of cold fusion and starvation in Africa.
Kidding, I'm kidding....

Personally, I can't see new episodes of BATMAN BEYOND being produced for CN. I know that sounds a bit depressing, but the crew behind the team is just too busy to come togethor for a handful of new episodes. It'd be a great sight to see, though...
