After watching today's episode and reviewing episode 35 I thought these questions up. See if any of you can come up with an answer.

- What is the furry stuff at the top of Tetsusaiga's hilt?

- Where did they get the scabbard for the Tetsusaiga?

- How come Kouga never uses his sword even though he has one?
- How exactly do you make a sword out of a fang (ex. Inu Yasha/Sesshomaru's father and Goshinki)? I mean cmon', do they melt the fangs down and put them in a mold, but that wouldn't make much sense because their fangs are supposed to be near invincible.

okay this is what i know

The scabbard came from a talking tree, i know cause sesshomaru was having a conversation w/ it, as it was explaining the purpose of the tetsaiga sealing inuyasha's demon blood.

He probaly does melt it down. If the fangs were invincible the tetsaiga wouldn't get broken later on. Totosai then has to use inuyasha's fang to fill in the gaps...which in turn makes the sword too heavy to use until later on.

Another thing that came to me......... ok, swords made out of fangs...... do they literally take out their fangs to make the swords and do they grow back, or are they just without fangs for the rest of their life?

when tottosai is repairing the sword he takes inuyashas fang (w/ out permission of course). Inuyasha starts complaining and tottosai said not to worry cause his fang would grow back in a week or something to that efffect
this is fun keep asking.....

I know Goshinki was a big guy-thing, but about how many fangs did it take to make Toukijin and how did Sesshomaru come upon his remainds? I mean, was he following Inu Yasha and noticed that Goshinki broke Tetsusaiga so he said "Hey, I'll make a sword out of him" or did he just happen to stumble on his remains and notice that his fangs were very hard.

Sess comes accross the orges body after inuyasha went beserk and killed it. The reason inuyasha went beserk is b/c the tetsaiga seals his demon blood. When he's in danger life or death w/o the tetsaiga his instincts make him totally viscous. Remember that the tetsaiga was in the tomb inside his eye. Anyways sesshomaru saw the head and thought since it the teeth broke the tetsaiga then it would be good for a sword. He took it to a student of tottosai, it's cool b/c the student said the teeth were useless in a dead head , something like that and sesshomaru used his sword to bring the head back to life....it didn't talk or anything i think it just restored the demon magic in the teeth.

Edit: more info

What elements of the Tetsusaiga keep Inu Yasha's youkai blood sealed? Also, if Tetsusaiga does restrain his youkai blood, then why doesn't Inu Yasha go full youkai before he get's the Tetsusaiga?

Edit: I see.... well here's another one.

Why, exactly, does Inu Yasha's fangs make the Tetsusaiga heavier after it's repaired? The sword is originally made out of his father's fangs and Inu Yasha is his son and all, so shouldn't they be the same, or is it a matter of his father being a full demon and Inu Yasha being a half demon...... or did was there some kind of spell on the father's fangs.

I get it, the sword has always been with him inside his eye. Now see if you can answer my new question above. ^^v

Tottosai said something about inuyasha's fang being a poor substitute for his fathers fang, and i'm guessing it being mixed did something to it. This one is hard...i'm gonna have to wait for the dub explaination. All i know is that he had to put the sword in the heart of that beast that sesshomaru looks at the ending theme.

it's because his father's fang was protecting inuyasha and since it broke and inuyasha had to use his own fang it was heavier. If that makes much sense. I think they also said that when Inuyaha learns how to protect himself and surpass his father his sword would get lighter. That's why Inuyasha goes and find ryukussi(sp?) so he can kill him in order to surpass his fater because remember the best his father could do was seal him up. I think that's how it is...

OH, I REMEMBER....
When Sesshomaru and Jaken come upon Rin's dead body and he sees those little demon things appear and they start to pick her up and he kills them with his sword and she is revived. So it's a "healing" sword in that it kills the demons that take you to heaven/hell/wherever and since they can't take you to the afterlife your forced to be alive again.

Shesshomaru is a god with that sword being able to govern life and death.

The furry stuff at the top of the hilt might just be his father's fur or it could just be there for decorative uses.

Jaken died when the guy that made Sesshoumaru's new sword killed him, after being possessed by the sword.

The "furry stuff" is just a decoration. Not everything has to have a purpose. It was just drawn that way to make the sword look primal. There has to be a way to seperate the blade from the hilt, or else it would look pretty stupid.
