Players Needed in WF RPG!

Greetings All!

For those of you unfamiliar with the World's Finest RPG (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17896), it is a role-playing game (on the RPG board (http://forums.toonzone.net/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=13)) that takes place in The New Batman/Superman Adventures continium. So any (yes I said any) characters that were in the show -- even as guests -- are welcome in!

Currently, though we are lacking the Superman side of the RPG. Aside from Supergirl, we have no one playing any Superman characters. So, I implore you -- if you're interested in joining the RPG and taking on any character from the Superman series, please contact one of the RPG mods! Your best bet would probably be redDragon (http://forums.toonzone.net/private.php?s=&action=newmessage&userid=32), Bird Boy (http://forums.toonzone.net/private.php?s=&action=newmessage&userid=34), Barb Gordon (http://forums.toonzone.net/private.php?s=&action=newmessage&userid=915), or The Guitar Slayer (http://forums.toonzone.net/private.php?s=&action=newmessage&userid=1349) as they are actually in said RPG.

Check out the "Characters Taken" thread over on the RPG board. It lists all taken characters in the WF RPG. If it's not on the list, you can take the character. We really need I Superman. For anyone that's curious I'm Nigthwing.

Bird Boy: Robin
Barb Gordon: Batgirl
Batgirl_2005: Supergirl
Calico: Batman
The DarkKnight: Nightwing
redDragon: The Joker
The Guitar Slayer: Catwoman & Clayface
BLACKHEART: Poison Ivy
Bleu Unicorn: Harley Quinn

As you can see, we're pretty lacking on the Superman side - no Supes himself and no villains!

You know I was thinking about the Batman RPG.

I think it would be a nice idea to advance the RPG up a few years. Change Dick Grayson to Nightwing and bring in Tim. This way we can attact people with new adventures characters and models. Awhile back I wanted to bring in Roxy Rocket as my sidekick but the mean evil Guitar Slayer ;) said no because she was a new adventures character.

Besides during this change my amusement park can be built and become an attraction of Gotham City. :)

Hurray! We now have a Superman! We'd still like Superman villains.

As for advancing the time in the Batman RPG. Although that would be better suited in the RPG suggestions thread I'll address it. The Batman RPG is based on BTAS time while the World's Finest RPG is based on TNBSA time. Its better this way as there is a broader range of time and the attitudes of characters can be kept to certain periods that the players may like better.

If you want to be Roxy Rocket you can easily be that character in the World's Finest RPG.

Oooo, an opportunity to shamelessly plug the RPG board...:D

We'd like to expand the Reality Check RPG as well. This is a completely original RPG that takes place in a corrupt and nightmarish NYC. We are in need of realistic characters (no superheroes or special powers). So far, we have a bunch of transients, a couple of cops, two killers, and a business man. It's an interesting experience to see how they all are connected in some way. The plot line is great, and we're in a bit of a lull right now.

Myself and Barb Gordon are the participating mods, so PM us if you want to take part in it. You know you want to...

Well Dragon the idea was for Roxy to be the light side of my roleplay while Scarecrow remains the dark half. The happy balance of comedy horror if you will. I could take Roxy and fly circles around Superman to see if he gets dizzy... I'll have to think about it.

Just two things I have to say about that. 1) that just gave me the worst and most screwed up visual I've had (at least since the pudding thing in the Batman RPG). [shudders] And 2) does that mean I had to dye my hair? 'Cos Harley isn't a real blonde...and I'd look bad as a blonde (trust me). [whimpers]

I'd like to help you guys out, but a writer I am not. But I may just think about it. :) I'm told it's alot of fun (and that had better not be a ploy to pull me in :p ). I was in it once *COUGH* but my character was written off *COUGH* :D . I'll think about giving it another go, however. :)
